Sugarphreak Racing Pictures

Thought I would post up a few racing pics from a school I went to this weekend. Fit was hella sticky, I posted the fastest time of the day on the first day in a pool of 18 cars.... some of them pretty crazy cars too!

I want to throw a thanks out there to Weapon-R for hooking me up with some after market components which helped the car be more competitive, not only did the engine look great decked out in chrome, it actually performed!

Any feedback would be great!

They are the single greatest tire I have ever used... I hope that helps

Actually the instructor was convinced I was using R-compound tires, they are really amazing for this kind of event!

Have you ever used Falken RT-615's? How would you say they compare?

I havn't used them, but what I have been hearing is they are great for the first event and compare easily to other tires in the same catagory; but then they seem to lose the sticky-feeling and break loose much easier for the rest of the life of the tire. Good for drifting maybe?

I would say if you are looking to run Autocross on street tires the RE-11 is the premium tire to go for, the Khumo XS is a close second.

Suspension is simple; Tanabe GF210's w/ stock dampers

Also rock a BE 24mm front Sway Bar, J's racing front tower strut bar & a BE C-Pillar rear strut bar.

You're particularly inspiring because our cars look very similar, right down to the wheels (Circuit 10s). You got VTEC though. Heheh.

Maybe I should try autocrossing next after circuit RWYB...although I'll need better tires.

That was the RE01-R which they sold at crazy cheap price. Like 80usd for 195/50R15...

I use RT615 for street, autocross & HPDE. They're a tiny bit better than some other summer tires out there. Definitely can't compare to RE11, AD08, or probably Kumho XS too. I had to warm them up for a bit under cooler weather(events at around 10c in the morning), but then when it reaches 20c+ later on in the afternoon it does get greasy.

I'm trying to find out if dropping a little more tire pressure would help. So far I like to run them at around 31psi/28psi front & rear(hot pressure right after the session at HPDE).
