Hi I was able to try different 205/45-16s for my fit aria but the best size in my opinion is 195/50-16. Much better looking plus more comfort when driving.
18" rims on the fit.....I don't know about that. I have 18's on my GTP and I can tell you that there is definitely a difference in acceleration. You can't beat the looks...but on a big car like the GTP...it works. I'd stay with no more than 16" for the Fit...should give you the looks you want and not take away that much from acceleration. That's my two rupies for ya!
Why not be the 1st in the world to fit 20" or 21"? May require a fair bit of modification but you'd be the 1st. Then there's the coolness factor of your wheels, tyres and modifications to make 'em fit being worth heaps more than the base car.
Noones done a low rider Jazz yet either with the dancing hydraulics and a few 15" subs instead of a backseat and boot.

hi to all. as my bro discoburg has said, ther's 18" fixed on some over here in singapore. personally, i have seen largest is up to 19" rims on a japan fit.
think any bigger would b a prob for the wheel arch.
i'm more of a "looks" person n currently on 17"
I have seen some fits on the japanese websites with 16x8 front (35mm) and 16x9 rear with (30MM+) offset..My question is how? Can anyone confirm if this is done by removing some suspension component or fender rolling?
That page explains how to create a front and rear camber kit for 500 yen excluding labour. The end result is not very safe with all those washers and spacers. The process weakens the original suspension and then you place more strain on the suspension with the larger/heavier wheels. And from what I understand the hand brake no longer works.
To get it done by a shop was going to cost 5,250 yen for the front and 21,000 yen for the rear.

nice explanation by vividjazz right there. most people in scion forum they used camber shim or camber plate to make the wheels camber in the back. is basisclly the same thing as the washer/spacer that the japanese ppl do, but more safer
I was thinking of running the Spoon Sport SW388 15x6.5 with 205/50/15, but still unsure if they will clear in the rear and front. Would be willing to run 205/50/15 in front and 195/55/15 in the rear for clearance issues...
