The 15s and 16s and even 17s look good but 18s are the size I like. The others are just tooo small!!
I have 18s already at the house that will go on to the Fit once i get the car. they can either go onto any car that has 4X100 or 4X114.3 bolt patterns.
Hence the fact that I want to see more pics of Fits with 18s on them
I can't be the only person that likes 18s on a Fit

Personally I think that 17's are the limit; beyond that, and you'll lose too much ride quality. I mean, how big would the tire's sidewall be on 18's without rubbing? Too thin, IMO

actually i beg to differ, granite it would be kinda thin for the sidewall. but the TIJN fit proved me wrong time and time again with the hre wheels.
they are rocking 18's and it looks badass for sure
Regardless if they look badass or not, 18's are gonna sacrifice comfort. If you want to feel more bumps in the road than 16's or 17's, then sure, got for 18's.

Ride quality would be shit on 18s. And forget about performance. Find the JGTC cars and american GT car wheel sizes and tell me how many of those are rockin' 18" wheels.
Not many, and a lot of those cars come with 18" + from the factory!
My biggest thing about throwing 18 inch wheels on a fit is that unless you put discs in the back, mad attention is going to put upon the rear drum brakes. Obviously, 18" and 17" wheels are for style, but if you don't swap out those brakes, isn't it kinda half-assed? That said, I wouldn't be opposed to putting 17s on a Fit, but 18s are outta the question; reminds me of those kids with their cheap ass 12" subs throwin' bass, but all you hear is the trunk and doors rattling and they're driving Corollas or Sunfires. "Yo son, no body gives a shit about your Corolla or your Aries, so stop wasting my time by drawing attention to yourself and your wack-ass Dodge Omni."

I sincerely doubt that a Honda Fit on 18s will ever look like the vehicle above. In fact the Tjin Fit on 18x9 HREs all around doesn't even look like a Donk vehicle and I'm just talking about 18x7.5s
Some people like what they like to each their own. I have no problem with 17s but being that I have 18s already I've got no problem rockin the 18s.
As far as the drum brakes in the back go, you would barely see them with the Mesh style rims I have. I don't have 18s that only have 4 to 5 spokes on them causing a clear view to the brakes.
IF somehow I could sell the 18s, I would think about going with 17s.
But until then I will be rockin some 18s

I too was worried about rubbing, i have 17 Inch, Offset +38, Tyres 205/40/17
(not lowered yet) my local shop has asured me that they will not rub with a 30mm drop on Eibachs, it may be a different story if you go lower, Anyway, the shop is that sure that they won't rub they offered to roll the arches for free if they did rub. We shall see.
Large wheels are the fashion in the UK at the moment, although i do prefer the Euro look, but unfortuately euro stlye rims seem very expensive and most garages in the UK wont mount tyres to rims if they are going to be stretched like euro tyres are, So big wheels were my best option.
i dont think you will rubb either bosshogg. but then again that drop isnt that much for it to have a chance to rubb.
my backs are close to that stupid fender flap thingy, but it doesnt rub.
its the fronts that i have a problem with. even with that, im just thinking about taking the fender lining out. i have i guess made enough u turns in the past 2 weeks that made my tires to rubb the clips off. so im just thinking about taking it out. the only real reason why i would leave it on, is to protect my fujita filter from the tire splashing it with water. but ill just swap my intakes out evertime it actually DOES rain here in san diego.
unless your going with the deep dish look with very low offset.
rock 16" rims minimal and 17" max. but of course you will need a proper drop to pull off the 17".
im sort of tire tucking right now, but it needs to be lower then it is for it to look "right" in my opinion

I fully agree with you on the lowering side of things and the fact that it may need lowering lower than 30mm to pull off 17s, unfortunately my car is my daily driver so i don't want to go so low that i start having camber problems thus scrubing tyres off on the edges, guess we all got to make the best of a not so good situation.Oh and do you know about speed bumps we have in the UK, not sure if you guys have them, but low cars struggle over speed bumps.
