15" SSR Type-C & 17" Enkei RPF-1

specs:
15x7 ET35 on Advan Neova 195/50 R15
great grip, but since the circumference is smaller that the stock tire.. the ground clearence a li'l bit too low for my liking.

specs:
17x7 ET43 on Yokohama A.Drive 205/40 R17
nice looks, but for handling, not as good as the 15" setup.

looks really nice on both set of wheels. The drop looks better in with the 17's..are those coilovers or springs?

Nice, I like the look with 15"s much better. 35mm offset seems low - did it rub? And did you need to mill parts or use spacers.

i have always love the rpf1 on a lot of different cars. from civics-s2000. i think for the fit the 16x7 version would have set the rpf1s on the fit HARD. but 17s look decent aswell. anyways nice looking wheels though

i'd go with RPF1's in 15/16's. those 17's look good on my cooper-s.

is the 195/50 a good setup to go with 15" ? do you feel it's a bit too thin? i have type-c wheels too justwaiting for tires to come in
any rubbing issues?

195/50/15's are nice setup. i run them and they work great. also get
the benefit of slightly better gear ratio for acceleration.

the 195/55/15's look fine on stock wheels but they're too balloon-ish
when use on aftermarket wheels with aggressive offsets.

Evotech8 will become famous soon enough
Do you guys notice how much your speedo is off with the shorter 195/50/15's vs stock 195/55/15's?

Any noticeable decrease in gas mileage?

jim@tirerack is on a distinguished road
The height is off by 3/4". I would not recommend it because you get more wheel well gap. If the car is not lowered it just won't look right. You could use a 205/50R15 and get a little wider and raise the height up about 1/3" over the 195/50R15.
