Do you have to cut the stock stud for the 5x114 adapters?
No sir. I only ground mine down for my 3/4in adapters. The studs stuck out just a hair and caused my Enkeis to sit funky. One of my studs is french toast. Hoping I can clean it up.
Im so pissed about this last wheel. I think Im going to strip it and start over. So far nothings working. Its like it has a type of oil in the same spot. That one spot isnt drying completely.
Im worried I dont have enough paint left if I strip it.
Longest time Ive ever taken on wheels. Finally cleared the wheels. They look awesome. Little probs here and there. What can you expect, clearing in a garage at night sucks.
Got the adapters Tuesday. Tires were mounted today. I was doing a test fit and just decided to slap them on.
Need to buy real lugs Friday and paint the adapters black to blend them in. Im running OEM flat open lugs from my Mx-6 right now.
Offset is a little extreme but nothing like the Enkeis. Doesnt even rub. Rubbed once on my test drive. Theyre pretty flush.
I love em! My mini Ep3 4door Type-R.
Dude that is HOT! More pics more pics!!!
And i have a quik offset question for you ray. My Tegs rims are 45 offset 15"s, will they rub on the Fit? And will they stick out further or the same as stocks?
