SSR wheels - 26 LBS weight savings

I just got my Fit Sport less than a month ago. Put these on two days later. I figured I would lose some weight, but was surprised when the scales showed 6.5 lbs less each for the wheel/tire combo. The tires are Falken Azenis RT615 205/50/15. They are also 1/2 worn, which might account for a couple pounds of weight savings, I'm not really sure what the rubber tread weighs. The wheels are 15x6.5 +42.

The front needs a little more negative camber to look just right. I was thinking about doing a mild lowering, but the car already scrapes on driveways around here so I don't think that is an option.

Just thought I'd share.

Nice! Where did you get them, and how much did you pay?

Also did it require any work for fitment? Another guy who used SSR-C mentioned that machining was required.

I actually had them on my MK1 86 MR2. I cannot help as to how much or where to get them. There was no machining required and they fit perfect. The front almost sticks out too far, but if it had just a little bit of negative camber or lowering it would be perfect.

nice wheels

I love these wheels. I have them on my TL. Now gotta save some money to put some lightweight wheels on my Fit later.

ssr's look great on fits. i wish i could get some type c's in gunmetal, but they are kinda expensive, and its impossible to find the bronze ones.

but for a forged wheel, they are cheap compared to what volk will charge you.

Does anyone know how much do the stock 15'' alloys weigh with the dunlop tires on them? I have been too lazy to take mine off to find out.
