so looking at installing some 16s and was curious what you guys did about the TPMS? did you swap them in new rims? just run them with out the sensors? and if you didnt run them what did you do about the indicator light if anything.

When the Quizs were installed on my Fit the TPMS sensors were just transfered from the stockers to those. Some of the members here just added the wheels without the sensors, took the gauge cluster apart and taped up the TPMS light.

Also, if you do have the tire place to do this be aware that if one of the sensors break that it costs 65 bucks to replace.

I swapped mine over. Wish programming new ones was something that could be done at home, really hate Honda for making you go to them for that.

No programming needed if you just swap them over. I was saying I wish it was something that could be done at home, since I have a 2nd set of sensors that I bought to put into my stock wheels. If I swap them back on for the winter, I'll either deal woth the light or look into getting them programmed (probably wont though)

Most here just put a piece of black tape over the TPMS lite or ignored it cause they're not helpless. They check their tires regularly anyway. TPMS is only required to sell a new car since 2008.
Paying $380 for a new set of sensors in alternate wheels (re: TireRack) is ridiculous.
I'm from the gov'm't and I'm here to hep youse. again.

I didn't bother swapping mine.
The light is on and doesn't affect anything.
I put a picture of my girl over the light so it doesn't annoy me.
