the rear fender clip....

ok, so I'm thinking about cutting the clips to get rid of the rubbing issues...but since that clip holds the bumper......

so im just wandering those of you who have done it, dose it make the rear bumper whooble?

(edit* assuming ur talking about the two screws that hold the tips oF the bumper)

I'm not sure how dumpped u are, but mine eventually rubbed off. The same will happen to yours they're rubbing now.

The answer is, naw, the bumper won't become all wobbley.

Note: my fenders are rolled.

Just grind it off, paint the exposed metal to avoid rust, and attach the bumper with a zip tie

well what people have rolled. i just used a grinder and just shaved it off. smoothed it out with some sand paper and put a coat of anti rust paint on it.

of course i had to sand down my rear bumper as well.

I'm running -2 camber up front and still rub on really hard bumps on the freeway. Rear rubs on hard bumps as well by it's only the bumper bracket, which i'm gonna grind down somemore once I have a chance.

I beat mine flat with a sledge hammer, then I cut the plastic bumper clips in half. Drilled 2 holes in the bumper and metal lip above bumper. Added some 2 zipties per side.

Since I didnt use heat my paint chipped a bit. I masked the area off and painted it black to prevent rust.
