Need help deciding tires..NeoGens or S.Drives?

Ok so I will be purchasing a new set of wheels and tires for the fit in about a day or so. I would like to ask for your opinions on which tire I should go with, I've always gone with the cheapest one available (which is usually the falken ziex line) but I've tried autocrossing in them and they are just simply garbage. So I'm gonna bump my budget a little bit and get something a little better.

The wheels I'll be getting are just your run of the mill Drag wheels. 15x7 +40, nothing special there.

The tires I was looking at are the Yokohama S.Drives in 195-50-15
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=195

or

The Nitto NeoGen VR in 205-50-15.
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=205

The tires will be used for DD duties and the occasional auto-x once a month. What do you guys think?

And if you have any other suggestion as to what tires are better in this price range, go ahead and post it up,but please make sure it is available from www.discounttiredirect.com because that's where i'm gonna be buying the package and it will be cheaper that way.

If you auto-x I highly recommend getting the new Dunlop Z1 Direzza Star Specs or Falken RT-615s. I am considering these for my street tires and for the added grip since i'm putting down a fair amount of power now

Thanks man, I thought about the Azenis but I've seen em on a 15" wheel and they're just huge.

The Dunlops I've also heard nice things about but not available from discount and tirerack wants $110 a piece for them + shipping,so it's a bit out of my price range.

Actually,I'm placing my order right now lol. Gonna go with the S.Drives

Personally I like the SDrives myself! But I see you've placed an order already LOL!!

Even though there are tire places in miami and what not I won't buy them from there because I live in Florida they sales tax and shipping really screws up things. I look for good prices and free shipping from anywhere else when I get tires.

Peace,

Check the wear factor and the performance comparisions on TireRack's site.
Highher wear for longer wear; lower likely with performance rubber.
