Opinions on 15x7 on 195/50/15

Interesting, my supplier wants to know a particular name for black. I know Rays offers diamond black but I don't know whether this is your color or not.

yah, if you're overloading the tire then that's a problem but if your underloading it the ride usually results as harsh.

Unless your inspection and licensing will not accept any tire construcytion less than 82 I cannot believe you will have a problem unless the 81 spec is only S or T rated or less.

As written above, the car weighs min. 1,111 kg, max. 1,150 kg. According to the load index and axle load this should not be a problem. Hopefully.

I found someone who will accept that. He also says that this shoul not be a problem. The tire I want to drive (Toyo T1R) has the index V, that should be up to 240 kph if I remember correctly. I don't think I'll reach such speed with a Fit.

yah, but i would also calculate how hard you're going to drive those tires. im sure the tires can probably handle it but you're outside their spec.

like a week old egg from its expiration date... you can probably
eat them np, but only at your own risk.

I can't remember where I read it or if it was the Fit or Fit sport but one of them came with tires that weren't spec for load bearing.

I rely on you, you're also using that spec. I think I will really use the tires, but at the end of the day, I can only rely on figures, numbers and the load index.

huh... Fuzion ZRi 195/50/15 is 1047 lbs. yah, i guess the eggs were fine.
but remember though, my FitS is only a dd.

I thought I'd chime in here as I just changed my shoes today. I'm droped on Skunk2 springs. Previously I had a set of Konig Daylites in 15x6.5 with a +41 ET running Toyo T1R's in 190/50/15, which had no rubbing issues whatsoever. I just switched my shoes today to some Rota Grids in 15x7 with a +38 ET, same tires (only 5k miles on them) and I'm happy to report that I've observed absolutely no rubbing issues throughout the day, that inclues climbing diagonally up some curbs, spirited driving, lock to lock test and going over large bumps on the highway.

To be perfectly honest my first set of shoes where some Konig Feathers in 15x6.5 with +38 running Toyo Proxes 4 in 190/50/15 and back when my car was brand new they lightly scrubbed away at the top most big square clip in the front wheel wells. They are LONG GONE, I replaced them with a flat style plastic clip that has been working pretty well. Thats the only spot where I would see any sort of rubbing if you still have that large clip on there but its very easily fixed.

I don't haves pics right now since I mounted them yesterday but I'll try and get some up during the weekend, the look is very sick with the front tire practically sitting flush with the lip of the wheel well, very aggressive stance. And the offset makes the face of the wheel a bit concave wich is added style points in my book.

One more update regarding rubbing with my new setup: Just got back from lunch with the co-workers and I loaded up the back with 3 people and I had no rubbing on the back like some people experience.
