Okay, so I am thinking of changing the color of my Konig Heliums. I think the black is cool, but you really cant identify the spokes, or tell that they are even 16's. There's just no contrast, so this is what I'm thinking:
Option 1: Do nothing
Option 2: Gold
Option 3: Bronze
Option 4: Open to ideas

If you can legally tint your windows darker the black wheels you now have would look a lot better..... Also adding the darkest vent visors you can find would contribute to the look..... Gold wheels look very nice on the blue cars but blacking everything out is just blatantly sinister and evil looking.
i think gold is used with blue a lot (wrx's) i agree with texas coyote. if u could get the windows tinted a little then everything would come together more. or if its really bugging you that much and u decide to keep the black, u can paint the calipers (sp?)

Wow!! Besides being cuter than a bucket full of speckled puppies, she likes the sinister, evil look.... If it appeals to a girl that looks like she does, you know that it has to be the right thing to do.
I will tint it eventually! Its hotter than a mofo year around, so it would also be practical to do. Luckily there are pretty much "0" Subaru's where I live, so the Gold wouldn't be to common.
Either paint or add a pinstripe on the lip of the rim in silver, paint the rim silver or gold with VBP pinstripe, or polish the face of the rim and leave the sides of the spokes black.
Save the money from painting and lower the car. It will change the look completely.....

for black wheels to look good on a car it has to look very sporty...inorder for it to look sporty, it has to ride low.
so, lower your ride. that would be your first step... well, just my opinion.

All good ideas, except painting them costs me no money, just a little bit of my free time. I agree that it would look great lowered. Unfortunately thats not something that I will ever do to it. I already have multiple lower then sh** vintage VW's so that gets the lowrider itch outa me for a daily driver!
Today I actually made up my mind. I am going to leave them dark, but use a new 3 stage paint called "black chrome" It will look like the powder coat process that has been out for a few years now.
