Design variety? Work is your bet.

Motorsport? RAYS or SSR.

My two cents

They are all good my most favorite wheels come out of those three brands. BBS wheels are great to, along with mugen wheels. But I might say Rays cause I have been in love with there GT-C's for a while. Also cant forget about advans. But it really depends on your bolt pattern or how many lugs your car has.

...and I just found out why. Here's an explanation from Enkei:
Quote:
The Most Advanced Technology combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming technology called spinning process. After casting, the rim part of wheel is forged and elongated while rotating (See the diagram above). This process allows a fiber flow in the rim part, which resembles the property obtained from forging process. The result is, strengthen rim like forged, with complex face design unlike forged.
Apparently casting is still the way to go if you want a wheel with a complex-shaped face. Forging strengthens the wheels but limits the design leeway. If you look at RAYS' Volk Racing wheel lineup (which is all forged), you'll notice that most of their wheels are relatively simple shapes.

Thought you might want an explanation.

thats a good point! very interesting.

i like works, but the mostly the newer designs. i like the affordability of the ssrs (most models at least) and rays are just rays. (though i do find some of their wheels disastrous.)

mugens are nice...mostly because of the name though. i'm not gonna lie and say they if some of their designs were made by knockoff companies FIRST, i wouldn't be that impressed with them.

but BBS....no comparison man. the ultimate wheel.

Personally I've had enough of Volk Racing wheels. I know they're iconic but I've gotten bored of seeing them. People here in the Philippines see CE28s, RE30s or TE37s and can't think of ANY other wheel design. Sheep. They don't even look at RAYS' Gram Lights or G-games.

Enkei makes good wheels too. Here's my new favorite, the Enkei Sport RC-T4.

I used to fancy this wheel too: the RAYS Gram Lights 57G.

Since you're a BBS fan this might tickle your fancy.

17"x7" 4x100 Work VS-XX wheels (sadly discontinued in that size), mounted on a B14 Sentra

They're heavy but damn they look good. I've seen a set of these in gold on a boosted black GD3...can't remember the offset but the car had TEIN coilovers and it had no rubbing.

If it doesn't rub it doesnt fit hahaha

Im biased to SSR I think they make a better wheel, but they're designs are kinda lmited.
