225/45-15 Front Tire... Anyone?

I was just wondering if anyone has to been able to fit a 225 front tire inside the stock front fenders of a GD Fit?? I Auto X and in ST Class I can use up to a 225 width front tire with a 7.5" wide rim.

After some searching I found out that Hankook has a Ventus RS-3 in 225/45-15 :
Hankook Ventus R-S3

I wondering if there is any trick (rolling fender, coilover suspension, special offsets, spacers, etc.) to get this to work inside the OEM fender.

Any information is appreciated.

never tried 225...most i've tried was 205 on a 7"width tire, and that was a good measurement. give it a shot and tell us.

Ive ran 225/50/15s on a 6in wide wheel with a 45mm offset. My front fenders were slightly worked. Fender liner mod and rolled the inner lip. No rubbing, lots of contact patch, and man did she corner awesome.
