T1R Coilovers Review

Ok so I've had my coilovers for about a week now and here's my feedback. I thought the handling was awesome before with just the coils and the J's bars, BUT with the coilovers OMG. My fit handles NICELY, rides SMOOTHLY, and looks *!@?^$ NUTTY. And I thought it would just be a rough ride (far from). I do feel the stiffness in the cars handling now which corners so much better. Overall besides for going lower then I originally wanted, My wife and I give the coilovers two thumbs up.

Thanks to the team @ AJ Racing

nice. you must have them slammed to get the smooth ride. I couldn't go as aggressive and the ride wasn't as good so I traded them. Now it's nice and comfortable. I think it just really needs some good adjustments to get it dialed in but after 10+ hours and even having a shop do it, i gave up and took my loss. I think it was more for the racing side of use.

shoot some pics for those interested.

I'm having some trouble dialing in the suspension as well, but I got my local shop on it and they contacted AJ for advice, so I can't wait to get my car back tomorrow!

Please! Details when you get them!

Dialing in the suspension is the hardest part and I'm still using the "trial & error" method.

Don't they ship them ready to install at a base setting? If they don't why wouldn't they?

THat's common sense. (should be) and since AJR made so much R&D they should provide a guide on how they dialed for themself. (for the track, and street)

Ben, Are you listening?

I Know that youre one of the most willing to help vendors here ( I personally know it)

Wow...the first installer is an idiot and installed the endlink and didnt tell me that the sway bar was touching the control arm. I had absolutely no travel at all! Some stupidity on my part trying to fix it, one manhole pothole, one night in a shop lift and an overnighted part from AJ I finally got all of it done! Great ride, it is nice and smooth! I love it! However, still need to get a new set of endlinks as I am running without the anti-sway because of the endlink problem. Other than that, no problems, just make sure your installer isn't a total f-ing retard. Gotta get rid of my Enkeis though, as they rub like mad because of the offset and extreme lowering. Any takers? Gotta switch over to some smaller rims and tires to get rid of the rubbing. Great rims and tires if you wanna keep stock suspension, PM me if interested.
