raising the strut tower mounts

kind of a old school technique plus race mod. i was wondering how difficult is it or how expensive. chassis shop or body shop. it would allow full shock travel with a lower overall stance. any takers??

Are you talking about top hats? I've seen them as cheap as $100/pair up to $300/pair for something like ground-controls.

no im talking about the actual top mounting points for the strut towers. if you look at the front strut tower mounts to the chassis and imagine them being about 20 to 30mm higher towards the hood. effectively lowering the car. if there is something can raise the mounting points with out cutting and raising the mounts that way, that would be awesome.

I don't see that as a good way to lower your car if I understand what your trying to say. What I was thinking was switching over to aftermarket springs and shocks and utilizing something like this

which helps retain stock shock travel while having a lowered stance.
