If Honda can put Brembos on their Fit concept...anything can be done as long as you're willing to spend the cash.

But seriously, one of the Asia members has done the rear disc conversion. Just browse through these threads and you'll find it.

I would like to change out the rear drums to disc brakes too. I saw a pic in another thread of a Fit with aftermarket 5 spoke wheels. Those rear drums looked aweful behind the nice wheels. I would either go with a mesh design wheel to hide the drums or get a rear brake kit.

the fit are 4x100 as well as 88-04 civics. the only hondas that used the 4x114.3 was the accord and i think the early preludes

EDIT: forgot to add the JDM 96 spec ITR 4 lug

Not sure....but you could try it and let us know!

I'm sure you'll be able to get the rear disc brakes off an EX at the local junk yard for cheap. Then, since you're lucky enough to be in Cali, go to any well known shop and they should be able to do it. If you don't know of any, go to AEM or 5Axis and they SHOULD be able to give you recommendations...or do the job themselves! lol

That sucks. Well...you can always check with AJ-Racing or PolePositionProducts to see if they can get you the JDM ones....and if they fit.

We hae been looking into the Jazz/Fit set up. The discs on the Fit whether front or rear are no the same as any other Honda model When you look at discs you have these factors:

Diameter
Thickness
Offset
Vented or Solid
Centre Bore (should be the same on all Honda)
PCD

With the above variables, nothing in the current Honda line up is shared with the Fit.

Therefore for our 280mm Front disc conversion, will be using a casting which was originally designed for another car, but specs are near identical to the Fit but being 280mm instead of 242mm.....

i do not know about USA model, but for Europe and Japan, the front discs are either 230 or 240mm stock. 230mm is for cars with rear drums, and 240mm for cars with rear discs.

Please bear this in mind if you order JDM parts (or even European, as we have rear discs too) for your conversion.
