I haven't seen anybody address brake fade problems I'm having with my '13 Fit Sport. What do you all recommend for brake fluid, pads and possibly rotors too to keep my brakes from continuously fading? I see TireRack offer a few different choices of each, as well as braided brake lines, but I'd like to get feedback from those of you who have tried any of them. I'm not as concerned about noise or dust as I am from performance on a curvy road course. Thanks!

get basic rotors... centric cryo's or napa premiums...

get the ate type200 fluid... it's a great starting place with a much improved wet boiling temp... flush thoroughly...

pads are going to be the big variable... carbotech xp8's are going to do the job, as are the hawk dtc's, etc etc etc... do your research.

I'm very pleased with my EBC yellow stuff and sport rotors for the front and Winmax shoes in the rear. Going on my 3rd session of AutoX with them. I also use Motul 600 for fluid. Cost, performance, and time lasted = *****

The car is heavily raced and the set-up works great. I will be switching to the Wilwood DPHA kit with therolocks and Winmax pads in a few weeks and i'm excited to see the difference.

I'm looking at getting the Hawk HP+ pads in preparation for autocross, but I've seen a few reports that they're too aggressive for stock rotors and will eat them up/warp them fairly quickly. Has anyone had any experience with them? If I need to upgrade the rotors as well it's nbd, I'd just rather do it all at once.

I usually replace rotors when I replace pads, especially if I change to a different pad material. Rotors are cheap.

they do lathe rotors when not up to temp...

carbotech/g-loc and pfc are the hot ticket pads right now... take a gander - not sure if pfc does anything with the fits...
