ARG it's all your fault... every single one of you who gave a positive review of the progress sway bar... you caused me to put in an order tonight on the new edge perf site >_< i know i'll be happy, but damn you all for making it sound too damn good to pass up.
you guys know how thick the stock front sway is?

Remember: Bigger isn't always better. Getting the most out of sway bars is a balancing act. For our little FWD, the best option would be to get the rear sway and leave the front sway alone. From what I learned, the end with the stiffer bar (or in the bigger picture, the stiffer suspension) will lose traction first when pushed. Obviously, we don't want the front wheels to lose traction. (On the side note, I know that some autocrossers don't even use a front sway if they have a FWD vehicle.)

YAY I'm happy, I got the email too, o I cant wait till it comes in >_< est. to arrive on Thursday, cept I'll be at school the whole day, but when Friday rolls around i got the whole day off, score on that, time to have some safe fun until Friday, then it will be time to really have some fun.
I just installed mine yesterday and all the positive remarks are true. This piece makes a huge difference. I have front and rear strut tower bars, lowering springs, and front fender braces, so I didnt think I would tell to much of a difference once I put it on. It ended up being very noticable. There is a lot of roll going on in the back that you don't notice till its gone!
The back end just seems more planted and solid....I highly recommend it to anyone(hundred times already said)
OK so my swaybar came in one day ahead of the estimated Thursday and I was considering installing it tomorrow morning, but I had a few questions concerning the hardware it came with before i proceeded. After checking out the hardware it came with I saw that I got one 10.9 bolt and five 8.8 bolts, 6 flash washers, I assume these are pretty much good to go. As for nuts, it looks like I got 6 regular nuts instead of 6 nylock nuts, and 5 of them seem to go on almost all the way, looks like I need tools to get them on, and 1 which barely gets on the bolt, so I assume it is the wrong thread size. Just wondering if regular nuts would be fine to install the swaybar and if any one else had gotten mismatched hardware as well. i'll have to conact newedge about this, though i might end up going with the panducky install kit. I really wanted to install this tomorrow, but i guess waiting a few days won't bother me that much.

Yours is the very first hardware screw-up that has been posted. If you have the patience, you should call Joey Berry at Progress Tech. In Anaheim, CA. Their 714 a/c phone number is printed on the instruction sheet. Definitely do not just buy hardware store nuts & bolts- they will not be Grade 8 hardened for automotive suspension use. I bought their first bar after the product hit the market, and all of the nuts in my kit were Nylock style. My suggestion is to insist on getting the correct hardware that you paid for. Tony Dimaio at New Edge Performance will probably not have the replacement stuff since he is not the manufacturer.
Sorry that this happened to you, man. Progress will fix their mistake, but it will take a few days to do it.
Hey all - this sounds like an awesome, no-brainer product.
Only one question (it's been touched on, but not addressed sufficiently enough to overcome my mechanical inaptitude) - are there any problems or things to watch out for if/when installing this with coilovers?
