With all the positive comments, how could someone not buy this. SO, after reading 10 pages looking for the negative and not finding it, I've placed my order with new edge just now.
One suggestion from an old wrench. In 1986 I bought a new civic Si that had a similar lower shock mounting. usually in about 2 to 3 years in an area that uses salt in the winter, the bolt rusted into the metal sleeve in the shock, which prevented it from being removed without cutting both sides of the bolt where it enters the bushing. I'll bet the Fit has the same problem in a few more years. The way we solved it in the 80's was to apply a liberal quantity of anti-seize on that bolt any time it was removed. Since I had the struts out the first year then (like I will now), I never had a problem for the 21 years I drove that car and removed the shocks a few times easily. If you plan to keep the car more than a few years, I'd suggest taking that precaution when you put the sway bar in.

Good advice, I may have to do that with mine when I get it.

Now some advice of my own... you should've gotten it through the group buy that's going! We're currently around $130 shipped for the sway bar, not sure how much you paid through new edge but it's the best price I've seen.

VERY good advice on the anti-seize compound- that stuff prevents a lot of grief on a lot of parts (like spark plug threads).

People who buy from New Edge Performance or from Progress direct pay a HUGE $10.00 more, but they get the bar right now instead of having to wait for a group buy to get enough names committed.

There are already around 30 names committed.

So the New Edge is $140 shipped?

$140 shipped in the lower 48 states, no waiting! There are 4 left till the next batch is finished. Seems that the guy wanting to do the group buy is not even a Progress dealer yet!

I keep trying to get these sold for you Tony, but some people will wait months just to save $10.00. I think that Progress should double the retail price- it would still be a bargain!

It's not about the money, it's about the fact that we gave them a promise that we would buy our bars through them. I don't think anyone has just 30 RSBs laying around in their store, even New Edge only has 3 now. If we all just went and found one that was in-stock now for $10 more instead of following through with our promise then mpg-motoring is gonna be sitting around with 30 RSBs and no buyers which would be unfair to them since they got them for us on the promise we'd buy it through them.

And for the record production has already started on the bars for the group buy with an estimated delivery of 2 weeks. So following your style of arguement, what's the difference between $10? Well what's the difference between a couple weeks. Not like it's a matter of life or death lol.

new edge is a good company to deal with, but it shows alot of character to keep your word on something that you could easilly bail out on. +1 for being a stand up guy arisenfury but also +1 for new edge being a knowledgeable and friendly vendor.

I've had mine in for a week or so now and it's fine. The rear springs kinda have to mask back into the rubber mount because of the bolts heads but it's ok. It's just on that one side on the bottom. I have pushed it pretty hard on some on ramps and it's pretty flat.

No change in ride quality...just improved handling.

I didn't even bother with the bolts that came with the bar. I'd recommend anyone installing this to order the Panducky install kit at the same time.

The problem with the panducky bolts is that they aren't rust proof. I believe someone purchased those bolts and they started to rust. Other than that they do offer a solution for clearance of aftermarket springs other than the Progress ones. Someone else attacked the solution by grinding one side of the supplied bolts to clear the aftermarket spring. I have both the Progress RSB and Springs, and I have no clunking noise. Im pretty sure Progress designed their springs around the RSB.

I didn't actually check to see if there was a group buy before dropping the order to new edge, otherwise, I probably would have jumped onboard. However, I placed my order yesterday and I have the bar on the living room floor now , and that's pretty well worth the $10 extra.

That is speedy shipping, and I'm glad I supported a vendor with an active presence on the forum.
