If you only do one mod to your car this is the one! What a difference it makes. (mine is stock suspension wise)
Handling is much improved with alot less front tire scrub. All that walloing is gone, and high speed turns are like the car is in rails.

Great job Progress!!!

I can only hope Koni gets their shocks out for this car soon, my car does not race but I like a confident suspension for the road.
I have found that stock springs with stiff (adj.)shocks provide a great handling car with a comfortable ride.

Just thought I'd share my setup for those who don't want their car "slammed" but want great handling.
Congratulations!

So far, that's three of us who have said the same things in slightly different words. My suspension is otherwise stock also- where I live/drive, I do NOT want to lower the height. Will buy quality coilovers if/when available if they can be set to stock height, otherwise will wait for Koni or KYB upgrade shocks/struts, if/when available, to use with stock springs.

The only reason I quoted Megan is because the spring rates are higher in the back than the front, which means, more oversteer / less understeer.

Im most curious as to how this rear sway bar will work with aftermarket suspension, I'm thinking its going to be like AJ's where it oversteers too much.

Well I just got done doing a little test (as best can be done on public roads) and the car still has some understeer left in it at the limit WITH the bar on stock suspension.
In the wet the car is still enormously better than stock but will still understeer if pushed all the way to the limit of traction.
BUT I really had to try hard to induce this...as in deliberatly!

So combined with an adjustable coilover you could still dial it to neutral or safe easily.
If I remember correctly AJ's prototype did not pan out well due to design. It was clamped to the torsion beam and the lower shock mount MAKING it too stiff.
Progress hit a home run with thier design realizing only the shock mounts needed to be tied in.
This is in no way a knock to AJ's, those guys are A+ in my book but Progress just had a better idea on this one.

Thumbs up Progress Rear Bar Announcement!

QUICK-- WHILE THEY LAST!!!

I have been in touch with Joey at Progress recently, and asked him how many bars he has left so that I could post the answer here. 15 is all that are in stock.

So, due in part to the reviews from fitfreak.net members, their entire first production run will have vanished within two weeks. Trust those of us who have bought, installed, and reviewed these things. If you let the remaining ones get away, you'll hate yourself, and us, with every new review to come.

I'm about to order one, and my Fit won't be ready for delivery 'til Monday.

This and a few things for the front end from J's Racing (front strut bar, inner fender bar, and T1R lower arm brace) might be on my Fit within a week of ownership.

I'm not racing this thing, so I don't think I want to do the rear strut bar or C-pillar bar, as they compromise the interior utility, which I'll use quite a bit, but it'll be hard to resist.

Might be a stupid question, but does anyone know what is the diameter of the Progress rear sway?

For after-market anti-sway bars, the Progress bar is already "dirt cheap". I will bet that there will never be enough reason for Progress to lower their prices, unless other manufacturers come up with cheaper copies and steal their market for the Fit.

I will also bet that once the stock from the first production run is sold, there will be a considerable wait for the next production to start. In the meantime, people who have installed these bars will keep on writing about the benefits, result being the next production run will sell out even faster than this one.

If you wait for a group buy, you'll never get your bar.
