The drop is perfect. not too low, not too high..
Ride comfort: With any drop, you can't get the same ride quality as stock. I notice a difference but its still good.
Performance: AWESOME. before, I had front/rear strut bars and i can take turns pretty decent.. but it would feel like the top of the car would tip.... now with these springs i just glide right through turns.. I LOVE IT.
Rubbing: NO rubbing 16x7, 205/40 There has been no passengers in the back seat hence no rubbing. Im not sure if it will rub with people in the back.. haven't tried.
We did not cut the bump stops. On 2 occasions, I hit a bump in the road (by accident) and it sounded like my front strut was slamming on something, kinda like a loud THUMP... I'm not sure if its hitting the bumpstops.. But I will see how it rides the rest of the week.
Overall: GREAT. just a TAD bit harsher than I expected, but awesome set of springs.. I recommend them if you dont want that SLAMMED ride.
maybe more stroke... I mean it wasn't a big bump... but it seemed like something under the hood exploaded.. well at least thats what it sounded like... Maybe its the bump stop? I'm usually very careful when driving to avoid the big bumps.....
i see u took my advice and got the gf210's. Great choice. Gotta see dem pix now cuz i bet the britelite's look a million times better on a lowered fit.
Luichenwai, What is the offset of your wheels. I was thinking of getting GF210's but want no rubbing issues and I have 16 x 7 - 43mm offset Enkei RPF1's.

anyways.. I love my setup... i dont think im going to upgrade anything else for now... when shocks come out.. I would like to get some.. other than that.. im satisfied.. gotta pay some bills
let me know when you have people sitting in the back. i plan on getting tanabes and 16" rims so i dont want them to be rubbing if i have people sitting in the back.
First thing first, I did read about the axle popping out of the transmission. Now that kinda pissed me off cuz that's what happend when I pulled out that last bolt on the strut. I got all happy and forgot about it!
It's easy to pop it back in though. Just turn the rotor while wiggling it around and it should take no more than a minute to get it in. It took me about 5 minutes to figure it out, but found out that you gotta leave the whole assembly down, get it the axle locked into the transmission, then give it a little push and it pops right back in.
After that, everything went straight forward. Took me about 3 hours cuz my "helper" kept leaving. So I just did the fronts myself. My wife just happened to get off of work early and was driving to the parking lot while I was working on the rears. So she helped me pull the spring out. Takes less than 5 minutes to do the rears each side.
I found some threads on here and found out that the tools recommended, some weren't needed but was missing what was needed.
Fronts 19mm socket and wrench.
Rear all you need is a 14mm socket wrench.
Anyway,, the drop stance is what I was looking for. Ride quality, it would be nicer if it wasn't so bouncy. I'll get used to it. I like the smoothness though.
I noticed that the stock springs were really stiff. When I go over small cracks and bumps on the street, the ride was really bumpy. Felt like the springs could be a little softer. But now with the GF210s, it smoothens it out.
Taking the corners was pretty fun too with the aide of ASpec front and rear strut bars. Love the way my Fit handles now...
It was worth all the effort. I was gonna take pics but I needed to get it done before it was too late. Started around 8:30pm and was done at 11pm. That's with my friend leaving, and babysitting my 3 year old.
I recommend these springs to anyone who is looking to close the gap on the wheels and fender, and also looking for good performance.
u were lucky u got the axle to pop back in easily. It took me and my lil brother almost an hr 2 get the drivers side to go back in. It was funny, the first time it popped out i pushed it back in, then the 2nd time it popped out, it wouldn't go back in.
I think I shoulda got the DF210s. I like the drop and all but it's barely noticable. I did the install at night so I couldn't really tell. But now,, I can tell. I wanted the top of the tires to be tucked under the fender just about 1/2 to 1 inch. Then it would look better. Or maybe I just need wheels. Okay maybe I just need money =)
