T1r springs or any lowering springs install question

Don't mean to alarm anyone, but I wanted to double check something. On lowering springs, the ones I am running (T1R).. are the rear springs the more narrow spiraled ones or the "fatter" ones? I've taken a look at pics, and I believe the rears are the more narrow ones but it's hard to tell on a few pics, I know all springs are different, but wanted to get an idea.

the "fat" ones I am referring to are the ones lying down. Front or rear?

And these:
look "fat" but are in the rear..

The reason I ask is b/c I think I may have installed backwards! lol

finally here's a set of my springs, just one side.. wanted to double check if they were rears.. I called A&J and they said they're rears, but I wanted to make sure!!

thanks

...(deleted me making wrong guess so not to confuse people, heheh)

The springs SHOULD have markings that say which are front and which are rear.

hmm nothing on the springs that say front or rear that I can distinguish. See that's why I'm a bit concerned. A&J confirmed to me the bottom pic IS rear and that the fronts are the fatter ones.. hmm

thanks. I went ahead and installed the V2 rears w/o the spring seats to get it more lower than the V1's. Everything seems fine!!

Alignment issues after drop?

Just wondering if anyone has had any kind of alignment issues after dropping your Fit?

I know it shouldn't be an issue at all with the rear axle, but even with the Mcpherson struts in the front, there's still usually some adjustability.

Pretty sure there's not much alignment change in the rear, but I'm wondering how the front gets affected, yeah... like should I buy springs and camber bolts at the same time, or no?

I got my alignment done after the camber bolt was installed. Didn't do it just with the springs, without the bolts just to see the difference. The drop doesn't affect front camber much, not like the civic/integra.

IMHO u should get camber bolts installed w/ the springs. Unless u wanna see the difference and pay to do alignment twice.

I do my own alignments ... but I was just wondering how much money I had to tell the wife I was going to spend for the parts to lower my car.

I know on my civic I probably spent $1000 total for the springs, shocks and front and rear adjustable upper control arms. Figured with McPherson strut suspension and solid axle rear end, I'd get out a good bit cheaper this time.

Hell yeah. Camber bolts are a whole lot cheaper than camber kit for civics. Too bad KYB don't make any shocks for Fit yet.

U can get JDM ones but needs to modify a little to make it fits. I don't think there's anything that fits USDM fit perfectly YET.

Spring Install Thread?

Just curious if there is a spring install thread on here.

Any tricks or anything different about the Fit from other cars that I should know about before putting the springs on the Fit?

Thanks!

Ryan

Search it up, there are a couple.

DIY spring install should find the threads.
