crazy customer service. i just got done reading it. and he had already pmed me with the price and everything.

1k ish doesnt seem like a bad price.

whats the lowest these coilovers can drop your car.

thats my biggest issue. i want a coilover system to slam my ride, and to be able to lift it on track days to fit some 15" rims underneath it.

About 3inchs if you want to go even lower then that I would suggest going with a 6" spring so you can lower it up to 4 inchs.

I just wanted to get some confusion out of the way....The website has a promo price starting at $900. this is for the 92-00 Honda Civic and 94-01 Acura Integra kits. The Honda fit Pro C comes with adjustable length swaybar links, and a separate billet rear spring mount. This is why they cost a bit more then the other kits.

Coil over sleeve type suspension tends to be a bit stiffer for most people coming from a progressive rate spring to a coil over sleeve type linear spring with stock shocks.

I would like to get these in the hands of the daily driver/track junkie to try out and see how you like this. I've riden on these my self on a few of our test cars and also in the Kraftwerks Honda Fit.

1. Are they shock housings steel or aluminum? Forged Aluminum Shock Bodies.
2. Spring rates front and rear - 10kG/8Kg
3. how many clicks for dampening - 12 way adjustable dampening
4. any helper springs front? - No, The Pro C coil overs are height adjustable by either using the shock body or lowering the spring on the perch. We recommend using the shock body method so that no suspension travel is lost. Helper springs on commonly used on coil over setups using spring perches to raise and lower the vehicle.

thanks for the info.
Additional notes.

The Honda Fit Pro C comes with adjustable length swaybar links, and a separate billet rear spring mount.

Sounds like a promising suspension. Now considering that most if not almost all Fit owners are not looking for track type spring rates, and maybe looking for something more streetable, is the valving of the dampeners suitable for lighter spring rates and if so how light.

Reason I知 asking is I知 running K-bee and have 5kg front/ 6kg rear, and I find it perfect for daily driving. With 7kg front / 6kg rear I found it stiff and bouncy. With a 10/8 I would find that rough for daily driven, also considering I知 not on the stock 15痴, and I知 running 17痴 right now.

Do your K Bee's have adjustable dampening? You should be able to adjust the dampening on the Pro C's to feel a difference between +/- 4Kg These are the same Pro C's that we use on the FIT R and the ride is very comfortable even with 18" wheels and 30 series tires.

K Bee's have adjustable dampening, and also preload. I switched my front springs to 6" 5kg swift springs with a 1" 3kg helper swift spring. This made the suspension nice and smooth, allowing perfect ride height with additional ajustability as well as a good ride. I have set the dampenings to 3/1 but could go 2/1 for daily and go up from there for spirited driving.

So you are staying the most you guys would suggest to go is 6kg front and 4 kg rear? I like that the fact that the S2 coilovers are aluminum forged bodies instead of heavy steal. What type of top hat or purch is up front? Like to see what that looks like (curious).

Oh yah, what is the size of the rear spring ID and length, so I can see what are the options of replacement springs.

I'd love to get my paws on a set of these.
i talked to my fiance, and we agreed that if i match 50% of what i spend into the wedding savings, i can buy stuff. so that means i need to save $1575 + tax... i'll keep saving! i'll hopefully be able to afford these soon! they look like they'll be perfect for what i have planned for the car, i'm excited.
