OFFICIAL: TanabeUSA/More-Japan Nagisa Gacchiri Support(Fender Brace) 05-up Honda Fit

The gacchiri support greatly improves the handling dynamics of your car. Confidence in steering is guaranteed by adding the Gacchiri Support. Reduces flexing of the unibody.

For the Honda Fit & Jazz (GD1, GD3)

"Gacchiri" means 'muscle strength' when translated from Japanese.

Mounts onto the door hinge and inner fender, creating a triangular support that greatly increases rigidity over OEM.

Guide inserts are included to assist for a simple bolt on installation.

Contact your FitFreak Vendor for pricing and availability. Please click on the picture for more information.

forgive my noobness...but are the FIT fenders THAT weak?
and arent fenders just a cosmetic thing (you techincally dont need fenders on a car...but it would be ugly)...they shouldnt help stregnthen the body...so how would stregnthening the fenders make the car more stable?

i may be 100% wrong...but just looking to learn some more.

these dont mount ON the fenders. They mount on the Body of the car to add rigidity to car the same way a strut bar or c pillar bar would. It doesnt allow the body to flex as much resulting a little cleaner handling.

There is no way of mounting these without the fender, unless you have the patience of Ghandi and the skill of DaVinci. I heard you can mount them without taking the fenders off by going up the fender well but you still have to detach the door screws one at a time. I installed a set of these and it was not easy at all. Removing the fenders is key for a clean installation.
