problem with tein basics and a lot of those lower-end coilovers is that
it adjust height while it adjusts the preload. not only do you risk spring
rattle, you shorten the overall stroke of the damper when you lower.
it might be better just getting some shocks for your springs that you
already have. if i was running lowering springs and wanted a cheap
upgrade, i would do shocks.
the only coilovers that i know that are sub-$1k that adjust height
correctly are wat im running.
