Question SUGGESTION: i want to lower my Springs just a little bit...

HI EVERYBODY
last Week i had to sell my Car... damn Gas Prices made me sell my RX-8 and i needed something more fuel efficient to do my over 20kmiles a year, and i got a Honda Fit Sport since it has a somewhat of sporty look and is very roomy inside, so i thought to get something that somewhat satisfied me and makes me save lots of gas, so i can save money and in the future get one of those Italian small sports car that they will come in the US thru the BMW Dealers network in 2010.

I like to ride my FIT on the Highway because is very comfortable, there is a lot of space to load stuff for a trip... i trully like it, but i like to zigzag around traffic too with this littl ething and... isnot reacting like i want to.

As soon as i got it, i noticed that the tail of the car has the tendency to fishtale when, for instance, i do a quick lane change.
I am very pleased with the front end of the car, it normally goes where i wan't, but the rear feels heavy, it moves slower than the front and alligns with the rest of the car much later. and i want to make it more reactive without ruining the comfort, also thinking that one day i want to be able to resell it without having to deal with the fact that not many people like lowered cars.

I was thinking about lowering all the 4 springs and make then slightly harder, but i don't want anything that ruins too much the normal look of the car or either that makes it to exageratly hard on the road ruining the comfort.
Something like at the most 1inch drop Springs Set.
I also read something about Rear Swey Bars and so... can you guys tell me something about, do you guys have any particular suggestion?

I looked a little bit around, and i found many kits that lower the FIT of 1.5 inches even 2inches, but that's a way too much... does anybody know about a 1 inch, or even 3quarters inch lowering kit for the FIT?

Thank's for the help and any info

Can you suggest me a Spring Kit that lowers my Fit of at the most 1 inch (3 quarters would be enaugh for me) to fix a little bit the handling problemswithout messing the comfort?
The rear end heeps swinging left and right when i make quick movements, and i don't like that... would a Rear Swey Bar fix it by itself?
Or should i do both... Springs and SweyBars?

springs will typically make it worse because most of them are progressive
rate. your best bet is to run the progress rear swaybar and run
factory wheels.

i think only Progress offers the USDM rear swaybar. i suggest just
get the swaybar, nothing else. and run factory wheels too unless
you're going to save up and get coilovers.

Thank You Kenchan,
i will order and mount my Progress Rear Swey Bar at the First Service and possibly, also the Front Strut Bars so... i should be fine... I was thinking about maybe just cutting down the springs of about half of an inch in combination with the bars... what would you say?
Thank's again for your suggestions

P.S.: WHAT ARE THESE... COILOVERS?

1" drop will work well but going to 7" width rims at 45 mm offset is better. The best thing you can do though is reduce the terminal understeer on Fits by didconnecting the antisway bar. In stock form a Fit will try to go straight ahead when the fronts should be turning and its just not going to happen.
PS the Fit is no RX-8 as I'm sure you have found out by now. But if yours waslike most RX-8's going from 15 to 30+ mpg will be like kissing your girl.
