Aftermarket Brake Pads ???

So any aftermarket pad for a base RSX will work? Are they the same for all years?

It may be the same for all base RSX's, but to go for sure, ask for 2005.
I instal them yesterday in like 3 minutes each side (not counting the time taking each wheel out of course), and belive me, I am not good with tools. I mean it is SO EASY!!!
Also, the civic si 2003-05 (EP3?) uses the same as long as is 10.3 inches disc.

I would have gone with the EBC red stuff, but the Hawk's are pretty good, plus Pep Boys have them, so no waiting time. (EBC, would be by mail) plus if the pads didn't work, I returned them, BUT THEY DO!!

Any brake pads meant to fit the front calipers for a 2002-2006 Acura RSX Base model will work.

Hawk's IMO are overpriced and don't perform as well as PBR/Axxis Metal Master pads. You can get the PBR/Axxis Metal Master pads for under $50 shipped.

PBR or Axxis or Repco are all under the mother company Bendix. When buying Axxis, you're just paying for the box. Bendix is an Australian company and produces their brakes for many companies. Good stuff.

For people worrying about brake dust, try the PBR Organic pads.

Thank you for the confirmation. I'm a believer of PBR/Axxis Ultimate pads and have been waiting to see what cross referenced pad would work in our FITs.

Time to go shopping!

UPDATE:
Found it again on the Endless Site

Front Pad is EP288, and the have from the VN95 up to the CCX
Rear Pad (four wheel disc) is EP210

Not sure if the ES520 is the shoe for the rear drums.

I mean no disrespect to Appleton21 nor can I comment on the difference between the Endless EP and ES part number designations. However, I can report that the EP288 is not the right pad for the USDM Fit. I put these pads on and found them to be smaller in length, height and thickness to the OEM ones. I'm working with Endless now to find the correct pad. However, based on the OEM pad dimensions, Endless thinks it should be the EP280 pads.

I don't mean to high-jack this thread but can someone comment on how highperformance break pads will effect fuel efficiency?

Shoudn't affect it at all if installed correctly.

From what I understand, when the rotors turn with no brakes applied the rotor push the pads out. And the rotors and pads are in constant contact with one another. So with highperformance pads (higher mu coeficient) wont the pads slow the car down more than the OEM ones making the fuel efficiency go down (more gas to turn the wheels now). Or am I making a mountain out of a mole hill because after all we are talking about a non braking situation.

Just installed PBR Ultimates on the fronts using the RSX base pads. They fit perfectly! Thanks for those that provided info as to what works, as the advice was spot on.

BTW, changing pads on these cars is literally a one bolt affair.

gonna get Mugen rotors,pads, and stainless lines soon. Can't wait. The stock brakes suck ass IMO. Hopefuly i will also do the rear disk conversion from AJR eventually.

Mugen has rotors that are a direct replacement for the USDM model. The pads i am not sure about yet but King Motorsports is checking into it for me.

I just want to say again that the Hawk Pads really Kick A___s.

I was in my second track day yesterday, and they NEVER FADE, AND I was hitting on them really hard and late.

I have the HPS. There is a more agresive ones I belive. I will like to put my hands on one of them
