Hey everyone, i took a look at the front OEM grill the other day and i noticed that air passes through it and then it gets blocked off at the rad by a plastic/rubber shield. has anyone removed that shield so that the intake has more/colder air entering the engine? If we remove it, will it cause turbulance in the engine compartment??
i think it's there to make sure the cold air goes through your radiator. correct me if i'm wrong. and some aftermarket pieces even replace the shield with a metal piece. Carbing Aluminum Radiator Cooling Plate 00-07 Honda S2000 is that what you're talking about?

I'm not sure if that's it. I"ll take a pic of it when i get a chance. But, if you look into the grill, you'll notice that all air is blocked off. air will enter the grill, hit the rad, and stop there.
