Wondering what this Kics Project magnetic oil drain bolt is for? Every automobile enthusiast should know that an internal combustion engine has lots of moving parts which need to be lubricated to function at its peak performance. Part of proper lubrication is a clean and pure lubricant. Very fine particles of metal are constantly being shed from various engine components due to friction. Over time this metallic ¡§powder¡¨ can be extremely damaging to engine internal, especially bearing surfaces and reduce the life of your engine. This Kics Project magnetic oil drain bolt is an exceptional benefit to your engine in that this loose powder in the oil will eventually work its way past the drain bolt where it will be 'grabbed' by the high powered magnet on the drain bolt and no longer will be circulating through the engine to cause unnecessary wear. You will see the difference every time you change your oil. Each Kics Project magnetic drain plug comes with OEM factory gasket for a secure seal.
