Yes the Ballast is Weather Proof. Please use caution to mount the ballast, Less exposure to the elements is best.

The Ballast come with a One Year Warranty

I will take pics of the 8000K in my car tonight and post tonight.

for your 09 fit. look around for something called an h4.. thats the light that fits you ge8
