Of course they can fit. running 18s with like a 35 series tire will be probably maybe a little bit bigger than the overall diameter of the stock rim and tire setup

Toyo T1R's come in a 205/35R18 that is 23.7" in diameter, which is pretty close to the stock 23.4" The usual 215/35's are 23.9".

Sure, 18" wheels will fit the Base Fit or Sport models.

Tirerack lists at least 27 different wheels that are 18" for the Fit.

18x7 to 18x8"
many 18x7.5" with +37 to +45mm offset
215/35-18 tires
Compare Tire Search Results

23.9" tire diameter should fit OK for stock suspension, be careful when lowering since some wheel offsets are +4 or +5 offset. Safer with +45mm offset if lowering.

the tijn fit has 18x8 on there car i think.

sooo sexy!

but honestly i have 17's and it sooo hard to keep them from curbing!

i mean just roads in general will murder those wheels. and thats rocking a 40 series. just think about like 35 or 30 series. super hard!

i wouldnt rock 18's...you better be tire tucking to make that look nice. its hard already to make the 17's work

dont go any lower than 40+ offset on the 18", i tell ya, scrubbage on 18" is not as fun as on 15s" or 16s".

I only have this half car picture, but these are Racing Hart GT5's in an 18"

Name: DSCF3706.jpg

Car is lowered on df210s, and it was tuckin like half of the tire, lol.

I am pretty sure the tires were 215/35s so that was part of the rubbage also.

Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone and thanx for the pic. it looks sick with the tuckage but i dont want it to rub. my bro had 18s on his civic and i had to align the camber to be negative so the tires wouldnt rub the fender. it looked sick and handled awesome. but tires get expensive. so i think ill just get some 17s. i apreciate all your guys help.

I have a set of 18x7.5 that i took off my 01 civic before i traded it in. I want to throw those on the fit but want different tires. The tires on there now are 215/35 18, and there is a slight gap between the tire and the lip of the wheel. I would like the tires come out at least to the edge of the wheel if not over a little to keep curbage down.

the 225/35r18 would be an increase of .58" to the overall diameter of the tire. would this create problems with suspension, brakes of bearings?

Thanks,
Phil

I have to agree with SD_MR_FIT and Fitcapo. 18s are just plain to big for this car. IMO 17s are the way to go and with a 40 sized tire the diameter increases by 0.012".

18" rims or bigger make fits look like a damn DONK imo. It's all in what you like, but I'll stick w/ my 15/16" rims and have my fit dumped =)

I want to put a big brake kit on my car and most of the kits say at least 17's. i know a fit is so light and really doesnt need it. but i think it looks pimp.

meh thats true. the fast brake kit needs 17's.

but you can do the civic rotor swap. that way you can keep 16's

I don't think my 17s make my car look donk.
