Bridgestone Ecopia 422 for $56.60 ( before tax ) through GM ...
parts department . These are the 175/65-15 for the base model . Achieved this by getting a $100 discount on 4 tires purchased through their parts department ( http://www.mycertifiedservicerebates.com/pdf/GMN.pdf ) and them matching the $81.60 at Tirebuyer ( ECOPIA EP422 Tires by Bridgestone at TireBuyer.com ) . There's free shipping and handling on tire purchases as well . Therefore , if no free shipping / handling is included it will be tacked on to the price of the tire making it more costly . Even with the $100 discount that's a prepaid Visa card . It's likely that some GM parts departments won't match the internet price . So , may want to call first . The install of the tires is being done at their service center for about $65 ( tax included ) . Other tires included in the $100 discount through GM are Continental , Goodyear , Hankook and Pirelli . This ends May 31st . Will do updates of the 422s after being put on this weekend .

You could use this method through another online / local tire dealer with lower prices . Also want free shipping / handling to keep the price down . Good luck to those in need of new tires .

Had the 422s' installed this past weekend for a total of $414 . Includes m+b and taxes . Then the $100 discount will drop it to $314 . The GM service center also gave a credit of $35 that can be applied to tire rotation or other . Tires are set at 35.5 . The ride is quieter than the SP 31s' . Handling is good and the ride as well . Just got a fill and the calculated gas mileage was 39 ( 356.9 mis. / 9.151 gals. @ 1 click ) , display showed 38.9 . There seems to be less effort to keep at a specific speed and less loss of it when accelerating to maintain / regain desired speed . The dispaly showed 40.7 overall for 73.7 miles when getting back home on the new fill of gas . There was the 2 of us for most of present and current fill of the 5 speed auto . Will get back on how these tires do on rain soaked roads and future tanks of gas .

Consider this a much later comment. I had four Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Plus 175/65R15 tires ($82.99 each) installed on 2/10/15 fpr a total of $427.76 at Costco, including everything (6% sales tax, balancing, old tire disposal, TPMS check, etc.).
It didn't include alignment which I had done for a single time for $91.26 elsewhere. I apologized to the saleswoman where I got the alignment done for not buying new tires from her and she replied, "Oh, that's ok. The EP422's are great tires - you'd have paid well over $100/tire for the equivalent here.
My initial impression is that the car runs much quieter and the ride feels a little softer.
The quieter is NOT due to new vs old tires: when I bought the new 2013 Honda Fit base automatic I mentioned to the dealer's financial officer that it is a little noisy but the pluses far outweigh that. I drove the car with the new tires over the same expressway and there's clearly much less tire noise.
