Exclamation Fuse Question?

hey fit freaks!i recently upgraded my stock horn to FIAMM since a loud horn is essential in crazy Philippine roads , factory horn options sound like scooter horns! anyway, i had problems with my fuse, the stock fuse in the engine bay fuse box indicates 10A for the horn and high beam slot but my fuse gets busted. the shop who installed my horn upgraded the stock 10A fuse to 20A. is this alright? has any of you had the same problem? i have a fit aria/city 1.3i-dsi similar to the jazz/fit 1.3i-dsi. thanks!

Hope that same with me... mine is fit aria.. and with hella 2 tone horn.. in the package, included fuse (20A) and relay.

Basically, relay function is to direct the power from battery. (Battery > Relay > horn).
Hella's package fuse installed between battery and relay. so i can say that it fused twice...

more Ampere, equals more capacity that the fuse's can handle. maybe your new horn needs more power than the stock horn, so they use the fuse bigger. it's not problem..

thanks for the info...i was just worried about my electrical system since the manual stated that i shouldnt increase my fuse capacity. its good that your kit comes with a relay but the shop told me that there wasnt a need for it since the stock horn already had a relay. the 20A fuse was changed directly on the fuse box so thats ok right nothing for me to worry about? sorry, i just want to make sure since my car is still new and under warranty...hehehe thanks epin!
