JDM LED Taillight

I have installed the LED Taillight by following the instructions in the above thread. After the installation, I realized there is a gap between the LED taillight and the rear bumper. Is it normal? I noticed that the insert in under the taillight on the LED tailight is longer than the USDM oem taillight. I think it is the reason for the gap. I am wonder if I can a replica LED tailight housing. Can anyone who has the geniune LED taillight verify it? I don't have the 'honda' letter on the back of the housing. is it normal?

I thinkt the authentic one has the HONDA letter Ben told me

Do you have any honda letter on the Housing? Not the connector. Also, Do you have the gap between your housing and the bumper? I can post some pictures of it later today.
