Leakage: All-New 2009 Honda Fit appears ahead of Tokyo Show!

Leakage: All-New 2009 Honda Fit appears ahead of Tokyo Show!

What appear to be official press shots of the all-new 2009 Honda Fit have surfaced online for the first time. The new Fit should be making its official debut in a few weeks at the Tokyo Motor Show, with home market sales beginning this winter. The Fit should subsequently head over to American showrooms next summer. The new model has a pronounced one-box shape with a sleeker look than the current model. The car in the photos also gets a panoromic glass roof.

I digging our current models more, but once it actually comes out it'll probably be a different story.

God, I hope we get the panoramic glass roof! A sunroof is the one thing I've missed.

Apex77 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Hmmm. I'm not sure I like the look. However, I do like the Navigation and panoramic glass roof.

I think this will be allowed here in the US. Doesn't the TC have this feature?

Damn!

I need to pay off my current Fit and get this one. My brother's been eyeing my Fit for a while, I should sell it to him.

I was going to buy the Supercharger... seeing this just killed it for me.

I don't know, I kind of like the set up. For me, it all depends on the engine. (Is it in the article? I'm too lazy to read.)

Then again, I promised myself I'm getting the Remix when it comes out. Of course, there are rumors that a new CRX with a Fit chassis is in the works.

So much to choose from!

This a major issue for all the 1st gen fits. Boom...the 2nd gen hits and now the 1st gen is looking a little dated.

I'll third that.

Especially those tail lights, absolutely horrible.

That is probably true. Where would the side curtain airbags deploy from? While it is a nice feature to have but I would also choose safety over having a sun roof.

The Scion tC has a glass roof, but it doesn't have side curtain airbags.

Looks like LED tail lights on the Fit RS but not on the standard one. Front lower grill on the RS is also bigger and more aggressive. I still love my Fit.
