I saw there was some interest in the air scoop so i got a friend to make one as shown in pictures below because the asian version for the right hand drive from thailand do not fit the usdm model, so i made this for left hand drive
how is it going to get air IN? it's facing the wrong way and it's FAR too close to the windshield to ever really get hit with any amount of air anyways. the air will hit the front end, go up the hood a small bit, and the go over the car...there's goign to be a low pressure zone where the scoop is, and will have air actually being pushed OUT of it from where the high pressure zone under the car is pushing air up and out.
i can sorta understand what you guys are trying to say, but it's basically like the hood scoop on a subaru, do you guys think that is backwards too? the difference is, it is smaller and goes to the back of then engine bay, maybe it would help push outside air to the back of the engine bay cooling it, we won't know until someone actually test it

i see no use for this, other than 100% rice
i think it might still pull air under the hood despite it not being a ram air scoop. there's been arguments about this kinda stuff like people putting spacers under their hoods to get more cool air. i think i remember reading that when you life the back end of the hood up, it actually pulls air down under the hood, instead of venting out the air, so maybe this works the same way. i really don't know though. someone should wind tunnel this or something haha. will it be useful though? i doubt it, but i could be wrong. looks cool? maybe..
