Another LED strip GB??

Hey, i finally got the funds to buy the LED strips!!! I had to pull out at the last minute. Is there anyway you (Fit of RAGE) can get another one going? Anyone else interested??

PS: Are they ONLY for Door sills?? What else can i use them for?

You can use the LED strips for ANYTHING! Here are some pics.

dude check out superbrightleds.com you can get any sized order and they do have the same amount of leds as in the group buy they are just calculated in different measurements..

The ones there are not as bright. They're also not waterproof from the factory. The one's that MicraLED sell are waterproofed to the point that you can submerse them in water. They also come in longer strips and reusable strips. By all means, try the stuff from superbrightleds.com and try some stuff from MicraLED and compare the difference.

jeez! the trunk light was crazy! also i like the door lights. do you have tehm on teh read doors too? i'd definately be down for a group buy if the price is right.

The First GB was priced REALLY low so that the company could get onto the map. I believe they are looking for:

$25 per 1/2 strip, 6mm wide
$30 per 1/2 strip, 12mm wide

I'll post pics soon. Just to let you know, this is NOT a GB. I'm just gauging interest.

Again, the strips are fully waterproof. I've actually submerged the strips in a bucket of water WHILE they were lit. No problems at all. They're also REALLY flexible. Obviously the 6mm strips are easier to hide. The 12mm strips are brighter.

minimum, 3. 1 full strip for each from door and 1/2 a strip for the two rear doors.

then I guess my question is did you try both width's install in our fit door sill ? and what width are in the pics u have posted ? and are there any pics of the others width , to compare?

Yes i tried both 6mm and 12mm strips for the install. The 12mm were WAY too big. If you lift the weatherstripping from one of the doors, you'll notice that there's a ledge. the ledge is about 5mm wide therefore, the 6mm fit perfectly.

if there is another group buy I am in for the 6mm , front and rear door sill set in blue.

i think i seen a guide in here somewhere on this install.
