Some people put on a lot of miles, some put on few. I post the average odometer reading with each set of results, to provide some indication of this. Will do more when the sample size permits it.

Short answer: happy to have you!

Those results posted:

TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results

The repair rate of the 2007 continues to be low, only 20 successful repair trips per 100 cars. No result for the 2008 yet, but likely in August.

Additional participants would be very helpful for either model year.

Another update has been posted, and the Fit continues to have a low repair rate.

Even Hondas can have bugs when new. I'd like to have a quick result for the new 2009, so hopefully a few dozen owners sign up in the next few months.

Any 2009s out there? The sooner we get enough participants, the sooner we'll have a result...

Thanks for the tip.

Additional 2007s and 2008s would also be helpful.

Just added my SSM Sport M/T. 240 miles in two days so no real data yet. I am looking at close to 40 mpg for 65 hwy/35 city driving.
Thanks for chance to share info.

Thank you for signing up, I appeciate it.

Because the research process collects data going forward, when you first buy the car is actually the best time to join.

Additional participants always helpful.

Updated results in mid-November. We've had very good participation by Fit owners. But more would be even better.

The 2009 won't be in these results--it's too recent--but should be in the next update, in February.

94 2007 Fits signed up so far -- 100 soon?

Also doing well with the 2008, if not as well.

Now 98 2007s--need just two more to have 100 signed up.

58 2008s, which is also good. But the 2009s, with 46, are catching up quickly.

Overall, great participation by Fit owners. But more would be even better.

Haha, the forum blocked ana1. Does that mean you can't say analyst?

Signed my '09 up.

Apparently you can say analyst.

Result next week. Great start, with more 2009s than 2008s already signed up. That said, additional participants always helpful.

Those results have been posted. The Fit continues to require few repairs.

A big thanks to everyone who has been helping. We'll have further updates in May, August, and November, so additional participants would certainly be helpful.

TrueDelta now has a separate results page for each model that includes the scores of competitors for easy comparisons. The one for the Honda Fit:

Those results soon.

Number of cars signed up:

2007 - 93; 100 soon?

2008 - 63

2009 - 88; 100 even sooner?

Thanks, guys. I wish all owners were as helpful as Fit owners.

Update:
My Fit is 2 years and 2 months old, and just hit 70,000 miles today.
No problems. Only routine maintenance.
I go to visit my mom, 270 miles away, as often as possible.

I have noticed that people who do a lot of driving are more likely to buy efficient cars. Imagine that!

The average odometer readings for VW's TDIs are very high.
