i've owned two acura in the past and they both started out shifting smoothly to rough, gear not engaging, gear grinding etc. so do fit owners have these sort of issues?
were they TL or CL Acuras?? Honda/Acura had a issue with those transmissions and finally offered a warranty extension for them.
The Fit so far has been pretty much bullet proof when it comes to its engine/trans

no i was referring to the acura rsx, there's no known TSB for the 05-06 model as far as i know but people that i know, myself included are still having issues.
The K series transmissions are quite a big disappointment. I've owned multiple 1992 Integras with manual transmissions (GS and GS-Rs), driven so many Preludes and other Integras, and all shift better (as long as they don't have worn synchros) than any aggressively driven RSX I've driven.
Odds are most of the wear and tear on the Fit won't be due to the gobs of power from the stock engine. Mine with 20,000kms feels better than it did when I first bought it, or I've adapted to it. I've never been hard on transmissions though.
Have you tried the new Honda manual transmission fluid? It's helped many 6 speed transmissions shift much better in the Accords and TLs.

the only issue I have ever had was tryin to get it in reverse while rolling backwards.. lol that was my own mistake! Other than that.. its flawless yall just need to learn to shift
I have a little over 2000 miles on my Fit, and the transmission seems to be getting a bit smoother. In reality, I am probably just adjusting to it.
Previously I had a 1995 Integra. With over 180,000 miles on the odometer when I got rid of it, it still had the origional transmission and clutch, and it worked as good as the day I got it.
