Mugen Visors - Car Wash ok??

I just put on my Mugen Window Visors... My car is filthy! Are the visors ok to be put through a car wash or should I just get my hose and bucket. I know I should wait a week but even then will it be ok to put the car in the car wash. Let me know if you have done it. Thanks!

i got a wash the day after i put mine on, and they stayed fine. The dryers at the place i went to were practically jet turbines, i was afraid they were gonna fly off right away, but they stuck pretty well On top of that, they're the mugen STYLE, not even real lol (sry im not cheap, they were just convenient), so they don't have clips, just the 3M stuff. You should be fine...

i wouldn't even trust my car with those abrasive wipers. talk about swirl marks galore; those wipers are like sand paper!

i would probably not take it to a car wash. those jets are extremely
strong....but those soft cloth type will probably just break them off.

anyway, one of the 2 reasons why i dont have visors on my car...
the other reason is it snows here and ill probably end up braking it
while scraping the ice/snow off the windows early morning while my
head is still asleep. lol

As long as its a touch free wash Id say go for it. A bush car wash will not only pull the visors off itll take the paint off with it.
It will leave scratches though.

I take my car weekly to a touch free to keep dust/grim off my car. Its a high pressured wash and has 3 turbine dryers. My Mugen visors are still nice and firm. My driver front one is coming off also,(my fault, didnt use the alcohol prep) the clips still hold it in place. Mine are real.

I have the real Mugen visors and I would never take it to a automatic car wash. I just recently went through a hand wash one and the people washing were like these are the most different window visors we have ever seen. I kinda hold my breath until they are finished so I don't like to even let anyone else hand wash but due to the cold weather went this route. I have not had a problem with them. My are still doing great and strongly in place.
