Whew... finally!

In the last two days, I finally paid my first car note and finally registered my car, and I must say I feel relieved to get all the preliminary car work done(and keep in mind, this is my first real car purchase on my own). Now, I can finally start to decide what I want to spend my time and money on.

You guys ever feel that sigh of relief after finishing that DIY sidemarker, to purchasing those set of rims, or finally grabbing that epic rare piece of JDM piece of hardware? Feels great doesn't it? Any stories?

Thought I'd share mine.

schnitzerphoto is an unknown quantity at this point
I know exactly what you mean. I really enjoy finishing up a DIY, and doing the other little things that build one's "bond" with a vehicle. I've been playing with different air intakes lately, also deliberating on customizing the intake manifold cover. Relatively minor interior mods have been a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to giving the foot lights a try soon.

Having anything to customize is the source of a lot of satisfaction for me - I spend a lot of time working on bicycles, tweaking, swapping out parts - and I'm fortunate to now have a car for which I can do the same.

Keep having fun - looking forward to hearing others' stories. -R

I had the same feeling once I completely finished exchanging my steelies for alloys. It took a while - had to find and get the alloys, sell the steelies, and get the TPMS sensors registered. In the end it was all worth it except for the lingering addiction to Fit modding.

I'm putting on fog lights this weekend.
