Trailer Hitch to haul motor scooter

Have a question. Do you think that I could haul a motor scooter 300 miles on my Fit I already have a trailer hitch for a bike rack. I don't think it would hurt. The scooter is about 185 lbs. Just would like some advice. Not something I will do but one time.

+1... i wouldnt suspend it in the air on a hitch connected to the fit... if it were on a light trailer then you will probably be fine. Just dont drive fast!

i would only try it with a small trailer, the leverage on the underside of the car may damage it.

Based on my towing my lawn tractor around on a $300 Tractor Supply trailer I see no problem as long as you follow the usual rules.
