Only 6500 on tires? Rotate tires more often!

Have right at about 6500 miles on my 08 Fit ... which has the Bridgestone Potenza's on HFP wheels. Well, I usually rotate my tires about every 4000-6000 miles (on other vehicles), so when I realized I was on the high end of that I took a good lookk at my tires.

Well, the front tires have just about no tread pattern left. So... will be picking up some new tires tomorrow for the front. I will start rotating more like every 2000 miles from now on I guess

i did not think they would wear that fast. I was going to rotate every oil chane on her. I have had my fit about a month now and it has 1,300 miles and im about to make a trip from CA to FL next week were i am moving to. So i might get them rotated on the way there. I usaly only put around 12,000 miles a year on a car. But lately i have been busy tieing up loose ends before the moce thanks for the info

I have an 08 sport with stock tires on it and just passed the 6000 mile mark on mine last weekend... took a 900 plus mile trip over a week ago and had the tires rotated then... no problems what so ever with uneven tread or wear...even the balance was still good on them.
