Do golf clubs Fit???

Hey all, I have never been able to ask this question: Does a set of golf clubs fit horizontally in the Fit. I wanna know because whenever I go in my friend's car, we need to manipulate everything and its annoying, and in my dad's car everything is perfect. I am guessing that my entire bag is probably from 49-52 inches long. Can someone tell me if they fit with out having to lay down the seats or something. Thanks ever so much.

The distance accross the hatch is about 39", so you won't be laying them straight accross the floor.

Your best bet might be to flip up one of the rear seats and stand them up on the floor. Flipping one seat down would work, too.

Either way, I think you'll be giving up one passenger seat. Take the clubs with you the next time you test drive the Fit.

Congrats on your freeway driving, BTW!

It's about 54" between the rear doors if you fold up the seats.

blackdot_fit is on a distinguished road
with just my own bag, it fit's nicely in the back with the seats upright and the bag laying diagonally. last time i went out with some friends, i folded the passenger rear down and we fit 3 bags, a cooler, and shoes and shht and we were gold! the fit has plenty of room for a threesome, but a foursome....i'm not so sure.

have fun!

i have a nike golf bag (pretty standard size) and it fits just fine horizontally. At times my driver might need to get shoved in a little bit but thats a rare occurance.
