Couple More questions

Couple more questions about the Fit...

1) Are the side mirrors able to fold inward manually?

2) Does the hatch open with the key fob? (I have a feeling the answer is no).

1) yes but not completely in.
2) no and no key hole either or remote release. No multistage locking or dead locking. It has a handle like the door handles receased into it which is unlocked when the car is unlocked and locked when the car is locked. The fuel door is locked when the car is locked so don't lock the car while filling with fuel as you can't close the fuel flap as the bolt will have moved across in to the lock position.

Information based on overseas model and may differ from US.

Vivid - love the disclaimer
How about adding "some settling may occur during shipping"?

Thanks for the info vividjazz. I guess I would have preferred a remote release for the hatch, but the method that you explained is better than a keyhole method.

Another disclaimer - objects may be closer than they appear in the mirrors.

On a motorbike they call it the AC phenomena. When you can only see the AC out of the MACK on the truck behind you, you know the throttle is your friend. Slight problem if you bought the underpowered overseas model for fuel economy because your now a hood ornament where the bulldog used to be.

Anyone else see the "Far Side" cartoon with the wing mirror filled with a giant bloodshot monsters eyeball and "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR". That guy was a genius.
