Fit seats

For all you Fit owners, do you find that the '09 Fit seats offer more lateral and lumbar support than '07 - '08 seats?

I have an '07 Fit. I wish that Honda installed Recaro style sports seats in all the Fits to keep me in place when I'm going fast around those corners. My old '91 Integra had larger side bolsters than the Fit. Just loved that feeling of those side bolsters sticking into my ribs!

generally speaking the GE's seats are better, but the seating position is a tad too high imho.

think that's gonna be my next mod. Some kind of black Sparco or Recaro seat. Nothing fancy or racy.

or something cheap like corbeau or watever they're called. they work pretty well and have rails that fit a lot of cars.

I'm going to bite the bullet and do the RSX seat mod. I keep waiting for someone else to do it without any luck so I guess I'll play guinea pig. Brandywine over in Largo has the seats from an 06 for 250 each plus tax. The only thing that may pose a problem is the lack of a PPS in the RSX seat, but what the hell?

More lateral support? Yeah but not by much.

There's still a few things wrong with the GE's seats. Notably the seat squab is way too short for my liking, giving insufficient thigh support.
