There are many posts addressing this fact, but several drivers are able to put as much as 12 gallons in the Fit.

The long neck, because the tank is under the front seat....allows for a fair bit extra. I do not try for that much gas, but I have started adding about $1.50 extra after the first click at the pump.....that seems to work fine, and puts no pressure on the gasoline limit in the Fit.

You should also be aware that some people get 500 miles on a tank of gas, and one fellow has achieved 600 miles. These are hypermilers who really know what they are doing.

Besides that, the car is just fun to drive!
Yeah, my F150 I C4C'd for the Fit had 2 tanks, over 37 gallons total. When gas was up around $4.25/gal, I waited and waited for the price to drop, it didn't, and that fillup was over $140 . 3 times I had to run my card, 'cause the pump shut off at $50. Although, if I only drove it to work and back, and kept it at 55 mph or below, I could go almost 6 weeks between fillups.

It's nice generally spending less than $20 for a fillup.

ShaylaRCakes is an unknown quantity at this point
My last two or three fill ups have been about $22. I live within Minneapolis city limits and near two highways, so gas in my area tends to be higher than in the suburbs. If I'm visiting my mom, though, gas tends to be 10-15 cents cheaper.
