2 inch hitch for the Fit?
#2
I looked for a long time for the same reason as you. None available.
The only 4 bike 1-1/4 hitch racks are the kind that hold the bike by the top tube.
There are 2" to 1 1/4 adapters but I'm not sure I would recommend it. Platform racks already stick out farther than other racks and the added leverage of the adapter would put a lot of stress on the light duty Fit hitch.
I'm going to put together a bike trailer so I can carry 5 bikes/dudes without having to use a roof rack.

I've looked all over as well and found nothing. It's all just as well. I've decided that four bikes hanging off the back of my Fit is not what I want. A two bike platform rack is more than enough and if I need to carry more bikes I can put them inside the car. It would be nice if someone offered a Class II one-and-a-quarter inch rack for extra tongue load. Everyone just offers Class I racks for the fit.

A Class II hitch can handle up to 3500lb's.... therefore, there will not be one for the Fit Fit isn't even rated to handle max load of a Class I hitch (2000lbs)
What is stupid is that these moronic companies design products that don't need to be designed for Class II hitches when they don't need to be. The reason of course is that most hitches on peoples vehicles are in fact Class II.
As for running a 2" hitch adapter on a Class I hitch... you can do it (I have one), but realize that it cuts the weight load rating of the hitch in 1/2. Again, still alot more then you need to carry 4 bicycles.

Found 2 inch trailer hitch for Fit. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hit...20182018121993
unfortunately, that only fits the 2014+ honda fit
the OP joined before that car existed (probably has an older fit)
this post was from 2010 BTW
