I've had this plate for 6 or 7 years now. It was on my '89 CRX with over 200K miles.
1. GO CART was already taken
2. This was about the time that the Energizer Bunny thing was big - keeps going, and going, and going...
3. It is a CAR.
4. Where I lived, next to a golf course, there was a road designated for Golf Carts only. If anyone asked me when I drove on it, I told them that I had to abbreviate!!
5. Fit is GO!!
I have been wrestling tuba and sousaphone cases into cars, trucks, airplanes - even tried motorcycle once ;-) for many a year. I checked out a Fit to prove it will have no problem with my largest horn, suitcase, even room for extra gear! My Fit is scheduled to arrive mid June...
( I already have a "Jazz" name badge to replace the "Fit" but I will also swap plates from my old car: Tuba Jaz )
I'm a personalized plate fan: Picked up the Fit yesterday, having ordered FTS FINE California plates a month ago, so they should be on the car by the end of June. I'm giving up the JAG LITE plates I've had on my Miata for the last 15 years, and had C3 H8 on my propane-powered '73 GMC Jimmy until I donated it to the Salvation Army in '90.
Here are my top choices. Still waiting for the info from DMV before I can submit my application:
1. Fit 2 Go
2. Prfct Fit
3. Fit This
4. Fit 2B Tyd
5. Miss Fit
6. Hissy Fit
7. Fit 4 Fun
8. Fit Is Go
9. Got Fit
10. Fit 4 Me
Whew! I still am not sure which one I will pick. Don't have to worry about any being taken so far in WV they give us 8 spaces. My salesman gave me a $30.00 credit to pay for my first year plate - which was nice!
