Parents never bought me anything
Most of the time I had one or two beaters, And a nice going out car. The samurais and the pickups were to tow around quads/dirtbikes, or play in the mud / woods.

If you're not going to keep it, then why buy in the first place? I have to buy everything/put myself through school as well. I hope I don't give off an impression otherwise. I've had a job since I was 15 and mowed lawns before that, lol. That's why my first two cars were old, but they ran well and I took care of them. The fit is the first car I took a loan out on, and the only reason I did it now was bc of cash for clunkers.

@ Baylor. .
In my case I still have the corolla, the fit, and the Civic project. And now that I think of it I left out my 94 Dodge 2500 diesel that needs a trans that I got for 500 bucks.
The sentra , i blew the motor with 99k on it. . Swapped it and sold it.
focus was a repo I bought from a credit union I worked at before I started driving trucks. Drove it for 2 months and made 2k on it.
The Integra was my first car.. I sold it when my sister got married to get her a decent gift. Had it 6 months.
The si I had for 8 months and it was stolen and found stripped.
Other than that the rest I had for over a year..

If I had more disposable income, I'd probably play around with older, cheaper cars too. As it stands, my tuition has already put me in a deep enough hole.

52 (eek)
250 Yamaha Motorcycle
65 Toyota Stout
64 Mercedes Benz Diesel
Tiny Subaru (1/2 the size of the Fit with suicide doors)
80 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
92 Isuzu Stylus (the best road hugging most fun to drive car ever)
96 Geo Prizm (most boring car to drive ever)
09 Fit (I love my Fit it is almost as fun to drive as the Subaru and Stylus, feels safer than the Subaru, however much more squirrely on the road than the Stylus which just stuck to the road like it was on rails) First time my husband drove the Stylus on a long trip (we live in the Redwoods) he said OMG why didn't you tell me the car drove like this. Well because I was afraid he would want to drive it all the time The Subaru was almost never how I parked it. People always thought it was funny to pick it up and move it. I would come out and it would be sideways in the parking spot. When it was picked up the wheels would always fold inward. It was really annoying I even had to call my husband to help me look for it a couple of times. It was always a little scary to be screaming down the freeway doing 70 on something that had tires the size of the ones on a wheel barrel (or so it seemed). I gave it to my little brother when he turned 16 and my dad came and picked it up and put it in the back bed of his ford Pick-up and drove it 400 miles home. Amazing
